Sometimes we ask customers to provide evidence when taking out their car insurance policy, this is to protect customers from fraud and is an industry standard so it is important any items requested are sent to us promptly.
If we ask for:
- Proof of your address or occupation, this is required within 14 days of the request
- Your driving licence details or proof of no claims entitlement, this is required within 21 days of your policy start date
Failure to provide the information requested, may result in the cancellation of your policy and the charges shown in our Terms of Business will then apply.
Please note that we use insurance industry databases to verify the information you provide and will contact you should we find any discrepancies.
Remember to quote your Name, Address, GoSkippy Policy Number and Current Vehicle Registration in all communications.

On entering the site, click on the green view now button, enter in your information and then click view now. You should see four tabs at the top of the page. Once you have done this, please email, fax or post this to us. If you do not have access to the internet, then you can contact the DVLA on 0300 790 6801 to obtain a check code that you must provide to us within 24hrs to enable us to validate your driving record. Check codes are only valid for 72 hours. If we cannot access your details in this timescale, another check code will be requested.
