Police have revealed that a brand new Volvo crashed four hours after driving off the fore court, after the driver did not read the handbook.

The driver was trying to “figure out cruise control” whilst driving his new car Saturday afternoon. This led to the Volvo hitting a slow moving lorry on the A30 Chriton Bishop, Devon.

The car had been travelling at 70mph along a dual carriageway. The driver wanted to test out the Volvo’s support system, designed to help the driver avoid low-speed collisions when driving in slow-moving traffic. The support system, unfortunately for the driver, only works at up to 35mph.

Luckily no one was hurt. Always read your handbook, and don’t assume what your car can do.
