Public Liability Insurance

If you visit or meet with clients, either at your work premises, on-site, or at a neutral space, you need public liability insurance. This covers legal costs and any compensation payments if a third party, for example a member of the public or client, claims to have been injured or suffered a loss as a result of your business activity.

Employers Liability Insurance

If you employ anyone else as part of your practice, you’re legally obliged to have employers liability (EL) insurance, unless this person is a family member. Should an employee be injured during their work for you, your employers’ liability insurance will cover compensation and legal costs.
