If you’re planning a break abroad over Easter, travelling just got a bit easier for UK residents. The UK government have announced the end of all remaining coronavirus travel restrictions.
From 4am on Friday March 18th, you won’t need to take a covid test or complete a passenger locator form when you land back in the UK.[1]
Who does this apply to?
This applies to all British residents landing back in the UK, whether you have had the vaccine or not. This will be the first time there has been no Covid-19 laws in the UK since March 2020!
However, this may not apply to the country you are visiting. Every region has its own entry rules and requirements. You can check the rules of the destination you’re visiting on the foreign travel advice section of the .gov website.
